Cliff Hangover

mercy
KC road season is practically at an end and as much as r5 loves cross, its a tad too hot for skinsuits and Mad Alchemy. Maybe a few of the new teams in town should join together to fulfill their USAC obligation to sponsor a race...(cough innatubba-bigdavita-shackstrong)

While SKC proved that it is possible to put on a race in KillaCity and post results in a timely manner, course design could use some work. Cliff Drive of course is the best and toughest race in the area. Guys who PUSS OUT on Cliff Drive and just do the crits should be forced to ride in fishnets and on tampons jammed into their seatposts. Even r5 has been known to haul his fat ass up the gooseneck. Suck it up and race it bitches.

Longview is just plain whack. Dump it and sub in KCK if you can't find something else. Power and Light should either actually be in Power and Light or at least be lengthened to more than the circumference of Butt'r Ball's gut. With a half mile crit, gettin lapped and watching Mercy refuse to chase is as inevitable as a Crashovita pile up. What we need around here is a few more hungry 1-2's that arent wearing blue or green which brings us back to the whole point of this blog...

CTFU repeat offenders and doublebaggers galore this weekend!
Dudes who are well on there way to the next cat:
Hershey Squirts, Alicks-Two-Firstnames-Roberts, Don't-Call-Me-Suge-Knight, The Original Bagger Cole, Kent-I-have-cool-tats-like-Nashbaggers
Dudes who are way overdue and who's parents should be way ashamed of:
I-Wont-CTFU-Because-I-Race-for-DOUCHO-TEK-Stover, I-Keep-Eatin-Buttr-and-Still-winning-Hollaron

On a positive note, previously called out 'bagger Skinnnner! finally CTFU and DID JUST FINE AT THE NEXT LEVEL.

  1. Goddamn, Stover has like 5 wins + 8 top 3's. Who the hell is the upgrade coordinator around here??

  2. Stover's points from Tour of Herman through last weekend: 48. USAC rulebook says from 3-2 the minimum points is 25, and automatic upgrade at 40 points. Somebody needs to do their fucking job around here.

  3. Additionally David Romisch will take over as the USCF License Upgrade Coordinator. All upgrade requests should be sent to dromisch@gmail.com.

  4. I think a rider should be able to finish a breakout year before upgrading.
If they dominate one season and don't upgrade by the start of the next season then there is a problem.

  5. A breakout year?

What will happen here in a few weeks, when CX season starts again, and someone is kicking ass in the 4 or whatever cat for the first three or four weeks.

    1. Everyone will jump all over that person in this forum.
    2. That person will have no reason to cat up, with year-end prizes in the various series' so valuable (debatable).

Then this whole thing starts over again. Mission complete!

  6. 48+ points when automatic is 40+ is pretty cut and dried to me. He does not belong in the 3's anymore.

  7. There are a handful of races left in the road season. What is the problem with him finishing out the road season as a 3 then he can cat up?

I understand the rules but there is more to take into consideration with upgrades than points alone.

I am beginning to think the whiners are worse then the baggers.

  8. If I were in x category and ready to move to x-1 category, then I'd want to test the pool water in these late season races to gauge how thick I need to train in the off season for that next level.

  10. I think Obama should stop worrying about the oil spill, borders, economy and work on all these whiners instead!!!

  15. benn may be a good guy but his coach is a punk and a hypocrit!

  16. ben said he'd upgrade after the gila race in May, then he says he'd upgrade after he wins a big race(he did this in tulsa), now what...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Ben had enough points in 2009 to upgrade, he raced all of 2009 as a 3.

  18. Ben Dover, here he comes again!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Technically, it's still after May and after Tulsa. So will next month be.

Yeah ya douche... How dare you win a race! ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  27. winning races is cool...

refusing to move on once you've outclassed the people you're currently racing makes you a dbag.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Kind of hard to outclass a bunch losers. Once this dbag moves up, it will just be the next guy. So, guess what, you will always be a loser, so quit complaining and replace you monthly pad, because it is starting reek.
