Taking it like a man

Tristina
What more can r5 say? If you can still podium in that getup, theres no doubt yer a bagger!

Its a shame 360 and none of the Open guys got into the holiday spirit. Bunch of fun-haters. r5 bets those guys all had their lights off Halloween night too. Can't have no candy in the house when you're still trying to fit into that wedding dress. And no P-Coletrain, that nasty Mr Goodbody skinsuit doesn't count. Its a wonder more people don't crash while sitting behind you.

Cat3 baggers, your time is almost up...

  2. Touché R5. I'll cat up. I do appologize to those cat 4s that felt cheated by me being in the 4s. It was never my intention but I'm not one to bow down given how this was all addressed and what was said. I'll admit I was intimidated by Cat 3s and didn't feel I was ready. Given the outcome of the past few races, you're right. It's time. See you this weekend.

  5. Yeah, I dressed up as my twin sister. If I'd had a little foresight I could have really done it up with additional prosthetics and accessories. Even so, there was some early confusion as Jeremy thought I was supposed to line up with the Open Women. Later at the start line, he proceeded to give me additional grief. All in good fun, of course. If this blog is any indication, you've got to have thick skin to race cyclocross around here.

  15. Volker's post shows a keen understanding of the sandbagger demographic.

    Sandbaggers ride tubulars.

Either than, or it's time to post sentries at Volker to keep an eye out for the 300 pound blubbering bowling ball of manflesh.

  17. Alright this is old now... I'm planning my return to CX from injury rehab, and need a new bandsagger in the 3s to draft off. Probably do the Funyion's race on the 21st because I love the smell of auction barns. And I predict Tristan here will finish top 5 in his first 3s.

  25. 998 in some results from Veterans ...

    ReplyDelete
  26. They raced the 3/4's together at Vet Cross, but scored them separate. The 4's are placed correctly above and the 3's are all 998 below, but not in order of finish.

  27. why would biker barbie tristina race as a 3 when it clearly shows from this weekend, that he is a 4...and placing 10th or so in the combined races? he's afraid....

    ReplyDelete
  28. You bitch about him as a 4. You bitch about him as a 3. He only raced Saturday so I'm not sure what your combining. It's over. Get a life

    ReplyDelete
  29. And he did cat up. It just doesn't show him as a 3 so your whole "he's afraid" comment was a fail on your part

    ReplyDelete
  30. No......not a fail.....I think the proof is in his placing. He was 10th, right? I think it's funny when the local scene can't handle taking a beating every now and then.....it's funny, that maybe they stay as a sandbagger cause when they go talking about their weekend to their buddies or coworkers, they can talk about their 'win' and have their peeps feel like they are awesome......and then when they race in a race they 'should' be in, the monday talk of their '10th' doesn't sound to their friends like they are equivalent to lance armstrong anymore.......I laugh at the KC cycling scene....cheap entertainment! Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  31. Id hope that your cycling skills are better than your comprehension skills because there's no cat 5 in cross. You said he was afraid referencing your assumption that he didnt cat up. He did. Therefore your comment holds no ground. Then you try to justify it by rambling about "Monday talk with coworkers" and knock the KC cycling scene. You are a blog star.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Anon 8:21. I am reading your reference to 8:32? Noone said there is a Cat. 5 in cross. So I think maybe your comprehension/reading skillz are off. I would have thought also, that if Tristan had the points to cat up, why not do so. I have also seen the monday talk. Or when you meet some people at a party and their "coworker" is some super fast dude (in their mind) but when the ubercyclist shows up, well, ummmm....let's just say that he ain't.....I am sure some dudes love going to work on monday and rambling about how well they did on sunday cause they outraced a bunch of third graders......oh well......Kudos to Tristan for finally racing in a race that he's capable of. I am sure given time he will do well in the 3's. It was quite a disappointment to see certain people line up with the 'beginner's' a couple of weeks ago.....

    ReplyDelete
  33. I know there's no cat 5 in cross. That was the point.... Let's simplify
    Comprehension level < cat 4
Therefore, I'd hope that your biking skills are better than your comprehension skills because there is no cat 5 in cross
