Poor poor masters racers! How dare those crash-5's interfere with your race! How dare that ambulance hauling out a seriously injured rider block the course! Who wants to get blood on their precious crabon-fiber bike?!
For you masters riders who bitched about the 5's crashing and holding you up, go fuck yerselves and enjoy your
DQ!
First, take that SC...
ReplyDeleteThey said that they got off their bikes, did a little CX action to cut across the grass. Then they all sprinted at the line on a closed course.
Yeah I read about this on studlicker's blog. He seemed annoyed at this "inconvenience" and didn't sound too sympathetic towards some poor kid who has been in the hospital the past few days.
ReplyDeleteGood job r5 for calling out some of these assholes in the local scene.
Was he really in the hospital that long? What was the diagnosis?
ReplyDeleteWay to go Adam Wagner & Carl Dick! Two "inexperienced" Cat5-ers that happened to be the only two to follow the rules.
ReplyDeleteDonnie, please.
ReplyDeletehells ya r5. i totally agree. d-baggery at its finest.
ReplyDeleteby the way, has google sent you a check yet? you gotta be racking up some money on those ads.
ReplyDeleteStud and the masterbikes are all assholes. I'm a master, and blah.
ReplyDeleteEx-pro Mark has those different rules, remember? And a bunch of the other Dairy Queen folks (DQ) believe they're among the open folks, therefore with the different rule set.
"by the way, has google sent you a check yet? you gotta be racking up some money on those ads."
ReplyDeleteIt was enough to get a box of Magnums and a room at the Capri with your mom.
that's cool that you found my mom. haven't seen her in a few years.
ReplyDeleteand the capri sucks. you could have at least springed for the argosay or ameristar, or christ, even harrahs.
were any of you there to witness what happened? were all of the masters upset and yelling about being "held up?" come on guys, stop passing judgment to all when there was just a few that might have been truly upset. most of them just wanted to end the race as who cares about a short race that really doesn't matter so early in the season. so, they walked around the site and went to their cars.
ReplyDeletewhat once was a good joke in the beginning with this website has turned into a real piece of crap.
r5, your are freaking 41 years old... act your age! you sound like like a freaking teenager. just look at the numbers of people that are commenting and following your site now. get over yourselves. we are all passionate about cycling. leave things at that. yes, there might be a sandbagger out there in the local scene... look at yourself. your site could have been a good joke and jab at things in the local scene, but man has it gone off the deep end with crudeness. i am done. i want to ride my bike and stop looking at this crap.
Hey r5 does your HR department know that you are posting crap like this using company resources during work hours? I would hate to see them find out what kind of employee you truly are.
ReplyDelete"r5, your are freaking 41 years old... act your age!"
ReplyDeleteSo you know the identity of r5? Please share!
Hey Anon @6:27 does your dad know that he wasted a load of semen when he conceived your little bitch ass? "Waaa waaa waaa I don't like your mean words so I'm gonna tell on you."
ReplyDeleteI would hate for parents to know what kind of whiny pussy they raised.
You weren't even there. No Masters racer complained at all. Most of us had activities to get too, so we raced early. We all knew that most likely we would be DQ'd. We all feel horrible about a downed rider and in no way was trying to disrepect anybody.
ReplyDeleter5 is a grade A MORON!
ReplyDeleteHmmm
ReplyDeleter5 is a complete waste and a sad excuse for a cyclist. If you see r5 on the road, make sure that you give him your dearest regards. But oh wait we don't know who he is. That is why he can sit there and say this garbage. Your blog has completely turned to crap. What a moron.

ReplyDeleteHey Guys,
ReplyDeleteI am not r5.
I have heard this rumor from several differant sources and feel I need to respond now so that this rumor does not gain anymore traction.
The rumor being that my "IP was traced to sandbagger posting."
My undestanding is that because I visited the blog of one of the frequent comment posters shortly after he made a post on the sandbagger blog that somehow the jump in logic was made that I am r5.
If the blogger/rider that started this rumor would like to elaborate on this, I would welcome it.
Just to set the record straight. I am not r5.

ReplyDeleteI was kind-of-hoping it was Bradley, cool dude; and if you don't think so, "Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man".
ReplyDeleteIt's funny to hear buck 4d cyclist DARE people to show up to an open event, Psh.
Donnie, please
ReplyDeleteI know who you are r5! I figured it all out, but your secret is safe with me ;) Keep on calling out those sandbaggers!
ReplyDeleteI know who you are too, r5. Your secret may NOT be safe with me much longer. This blog is an embarrassment to KC racing.
ReplyDeleteI know who you are as well. I am about ONE blog away from letting everyone know who you are. Well see how quick you get your beat-down. This blog is an embarrassment to KC racing for sure!! Grow up, ride you bike and shut your mouth.
ReplyDeleteI'm in the same position. I know who you are and have been entertaining hopes that you will change your ways. You and your posse will be shunned by the cycling community. It will be more detrimental to you [all] than you realize.
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is, I don't WANT to know who r5 is. Yeah, it's fun to sit around, brainstorm and try to figure it out, as there's a good chance I know the person..but that's one more reason why I DON'T want to know...and I know I'm not the only person that feels that way.
ReplyDeleteI know who it is too. I'm appalled that he and his friends are so cruel behind the safety of an acronym. I don't want everyone to find out who it is. Even more people will get hurt. This just needs to end. If it doesn't, the truth WILL come out.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Aubree and the few (many?) Anonymous in the know. It would be better if this all just went away without a big revealing. Many of us in the cycling community have had enough. Our families have had enough.
ReplyDeleteAll I can tell by this blog is how fragile a world cyclist live in on dialy basis. Are people really sitting around trying to find out who owns a blog? I actually wish to thanks R5, for opening my eyes to what the KC cycling community is really like, at least the slow people. If most of you have not noticed, only slow people are responding, because the fast people do not care. And, yes I am slow just like all the other people reading my response. Get over your self, pay attention to your family, do a better job at work, and realize no matter how much you train, ride, ... you will always be slow.
ReplyDeleteInquisitor asks: How many fingers do you see? Subject Answers: 4.. Inquisitor: No!! how many fingers do you SEE!! Subject:4...
ReplyDelete(inquisitor starts up a hand drill) Inquisitor: Again!! How many fingers do you see? Answer the question... Subject: I see 5 fingers FIVE!!! FIVE FUCKING FINGERS...
There is a turd in the punchbowl, I repeat, there is a turd in the punch bowl.
ReplyDeleteI was at the race in the Cat5 field and watched the masters disrespect the downed riders and race organizers by blatantly violating the rules for their own selfish gain. All because they couldn't be held up for 20 more minutes by some "crash-5 kid", who spent three days in the hospital and is out a bike. Bad fucking form, this is not Vietnam, there are rules.
ReplyDeleter5 is in the right to call these guys out. Last I checked those DQ'd were making a lot of noise over the call to strip them points and standing.
Read the fucking rules and don't be complete assholes by selfishly completing your race while another rider finishes in an ambulance.
Dude.....r5........your friends are about to roll on ya dawg.....they ain't playinnn.....I am reading their posts.....and the trust must have gotten to them too......now their feelings are hurt...too bad.....I love this blog....cause A LOT of the callouts are right on the money.....and as i said before, the truth only hurts those who know it's the truth....keep it up....keep the sandbaggers on alert.....cheers mate....
